Excel ActiveX Combo Box with VBA

How can you make navigation easier for your larger workbooks?

You could create an ActiveX combo-box that automatically adds the sheet names to the drop-down.

Once the user selects a sheet, they jump to the respective sheet.

If the user deletes a sheet, renames a sheet or adds new worksheets, the combo-box names are automatically updated as well.

The aim of this exercise is also to become more familiar with Excel VBA’s Event procedures. These are triggered once an event occurs.

Here we take a look at the Activate and change events of the ActiveX combo box. We then use the Workbook open event as well.
